The grades of stainless steel for elevators are mainly 304, 439, 443 and 316L. The amount of 304 stainless steel is the largest. 304 excellent corrosion resistance and mechanical properties have become the first choice of elevator enterprises. 316 stainless steel is mainly used in seaside, high corrosion occasions and heavy duty escalator. 430 stainless steel has also been widely used in elevator industry, with relatively low price, which is used in general occasions and steps.
